Residents living in community associations encouraged to participate in Neighborhood College
As part of Mayor Jay Tibshraeny’s Listening Tour, Chandler is now offering a series of free classes to residents through its new Neighborhood College program. Residents who are involved in their community/homeowners associations or those interested in becoming involved in their neighborhoods are encouraged to apply.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics including association leadership, code enforcement, conflict resolution, pets, state statutes (as applied to homeownership associations) and much more.
Neighborhood College kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 24, and the classes occur through early October. Pre-registration is now available and residents are encouraged to register by Wednesday, Aug. 23. To download an application and to view a complete list of classes, visit Residents who attend at least seven of the nine classes in the series will receive a certificate of completion from the City.
The dates, times and locations of each class vary. Priority will be given to Chandler residents, but the program also is open to residents from all Valley cities.
