The Art of Om: Free yoga and art series at Chandler City Hall, presented by Vision Gallery and CorePower Yoga

Yoga & Art series at Chandler City HallVision Gallery in Downtown Chandler is hosting a free yoga and art series every Wednesday evening in October at 6 p.m. on the Chandler City Hall lawn. The Art of Om series of yoga sessions is presented in partnership with CorePower Yoga Chandler. Starting on Oct. 4, attendees can enjoy 60 minutes of yoga from a rotating roster of CorePower Yoga instructors. Following the class, there will be a brief tour of the Vision Gallery and its current exhibition.

“Experiencing art and practicing yoga are both about being present,” says Peter Bugg, visual arts coordinator at Vision Gallery. “The Art of Om is all about connecting with one’s body through yoga and one’s head through art. It is about living in the moment while honoring what has passed and what is ahead.”

All levels of yoga students are welcome. Advanced registration is encouraged online at visiongallery.org/exhibition-sched.html or eventbrite.com. Free parking is available in the structure at 240 S. Washington St. Attendees are asked to arrive early to provide ample time for parking and registration. For those who don’t have a mat, mats will be available.
