Tips for Attending Chandler’s July 4th Fireworks Spectacular

Chandler’s July 4th Fireworks Spectacular is almost here and we’ve pulled together this guide so you know where to go, what to expect, and how to optimize your Independence Day experience.

Schedule

From family friendly activities and lively music to delicious food and drinks and spectacular fireworks, there’s something for every age.
 
--  The fun occurs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with free admission. Tumbleweed Park is located at 2250 S. McQueen Road, southwest corner of McQueen and Germann roads

--  Groove to the live tunes of the School of Rock Sugar Skulls, as well as music from one of Riviera Broadcasting’s acclaimed DJs. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

--  The Arizona State Fair will be providing young guests with some cool activities such as a coloring area from AZ Milk Producers, corn hole games, photo booth, Sesame Street Step & Repeat, and a goodies/giveaway table. There also will be face painting and glow items available for purchase! 

Parking

Parking is available for $5 per vehicle (CASH ONLY) and conveniently located in or near the Park. Vehicles can enter the park from Germann Road at Hamilton Street or from McQueen Road at Celebration Way. Visit www.chandleraz.gov/4thofjuly for the parking map and event details.

What to Bring

--  Food & Bottled Water - You are welcome to bring food (pre-cooked) and sealed bottled water. Please leave all other beverages at home. No grilling or alcoholic beverages are permitted.

--  Cash - Delicious eats and thirst-quenching beverages will be available for purchase throughout the park. Guests should bring cash as not all food trucks and vendors accept credit cards.

--  Blankets & Chairs - The fireworks finale is sure to draw a massive crowd, and early birds land some of the best seats and views in the park. Personal fireworks and sparklers are prohibited in the park.
